This 1,350 square foot bunglow in the Montavilla neighborhood of Portland was fully remodeled from a very run-down state. A large, open room in the back of the house was modified to be a dining room and master with an attached 3/4 bath. The floors were original hardwoods covered in carpet, which we refinished. The kitchen received new cabinets, flooring, and finishes. All windows and mouldings were new, along with a few facades of cedar shake siding. Three porches and/or stairs were added along with planter boxes and other details. Most drywall and texture was redone. Basically, it went from the worst house in the neighborhood to the nicest.
